Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. There are losses to the veneer, especially to the upper border, and the venner of the upper border has been partly reglued. The brass oval tray is probably later.  There are minor restorations to the veneer. The construction is firm. As stated in the catalogue, the stamp is fragmentary.
