the handles from a mask, on a twisted fluted base; (hairline crack with minor chip to one cover)
Condition
The illustration of the catalogue is accurate but the gilding is less orange in reality. The gilding is rubbed and tarnished.Vase 1: There is one crack to the square base. The upper gilt-bronze pierced ring needs to be refixed to the body. The cover is broken in two parts with a minor chip and needs to be restored.Vase 2: There is one oval crack to the body in hook shape.Beautiful stone and nice quality of chasing.
