- Haut. 81 cm., larg. 75 cm., prof. 44 cm. ; Height 32 in., width 29½ in., depth 17¼in.
each with five candlearms with faceted drops, the central stem with foliage and laurel wreath surmounted by an eagle; (drilled for electricity ; some minor chips, losses and replacements)
Condition
The illustration of the catalogue is accurate but the scale of the pair of wall-lights is more impressive in reality. The gilding is slightly rubbed and tarnished but there aren't differences of tones between both wall-appliques as seen on the illustration of the catalogue. One branch and one nozzle are slightly loose. There are some chips to the faceted pendants. There are some minor losses and replacements to the pendants. The pair of wall-lights is drilled for electricity. Elegant and rare pair of Neoclassical wall-lights.
