Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. There are chips to the gilding revealing the red bowl, the gesso and the wood underneath, especially to the armrests and to one foot. There are some restorations to the wood. Both constructions are firm and sound. The yellow silk is in bad condition with tears and wears.
