Description

  • Length 28,5 cm and 21,5 cm, 11 in. and 8 1/2 in.; 1.569 g., 50 oz 9 dwt
the first one with finial shaped as a goat head, the handles with fruits and foliage ornaments, engraved with initials in a cartouch; the second one, smaller, with button finial, engraved with the arms of Monseigneur Hugues de la Tour d'Auvergne Lauraguais.

Condition

In good condition overall with usual scratches consistent with age and handling. The larger one with one dent on the cover. The smaller one slightly worn, the cover with minor bumps and one waterleaf broken, the body with two bumps. The arms on cover slightly erased commensurate with age.
