  • Porcelain
octogonal, painted to the inside with a design of scholar's objects resting near peonies under a willow tree, the rim painted with sprays of flowers

Condition

There is fritting to the rim of the plates. There are some firing flaws and pinpoint imperfections to the glaze. There is a label stuck on the base of each plate reading : "étude Chapelle-Perrin-Fromentin, Lot 154, Versailles, 1976".
