Condition
It has not been possible to see the work fully unframed. There is a sketch for a figure on the verso. Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, taped to the wooden bands along the extremes edges, with 7 additional small pieces of tape associated to areas of minor discolouration. The sheet is gently undulating. There is a small repaired tear (approx. 2 cm long) to the lower part of the left edge and a further smaller repaired tear (approx. 1.5 cm long) to the upper left corner. There are two spots of foxing towards the upper and lower right corners. The sheet is light stained. This work is in fairly good condition.
