Description

Condition

The surface is fairly weathered all over due to outside exposure of the marble. Surface dirt is visible all over, ontably, to the base and in the crevices. Chips and minor losses are visible at several places, notably along the edges of the base and on the high points. Green coloration is visible at several places due to the moss. Fillings are visible at several places to the base. The lower part of Cupid's proper left wing is restored. Natural grey veining is visible all over the surface. A larger fissure is visible to his proper right arm, above the elbow. Wear to the carving, notable on the head.
