Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is quite accurate. There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. There are old restorations. Some feet and the stretchers have been broken and restored. There are wooden blocks which reinforce the seatrails on the front part. The structure is solid. As mentioned in the catalogue, the consoles have been partly redecorated. There are several wear in places and some water damages on the tops. The top illustrated on page 176 with some wear particularly to the figures. The other top, much darker with extensive cracks to the varnished surface. All the gilded foliages with a brown oxydation. Attractive and decorative pieces.
