Condition

To the naked eye : The painting appears in quite satisfactory condition. We notice some litharge. The panel is composed of two planks, reinforced on the reverse. The panel is perfectly flat. Under UV light : The painting appears under a green irregular varnish. There are many retouches overall the composition, especially on the architectures and on the background. We can notice an horizontal line where the two planks join each other, corresponding to the reinforcement on the reverse.
