- walnut, wool tapestry
- Haut. 119 cm., larg. 73 cm. ; Height 46 3/4 in., width 28 3/4 in.
upholstered with a 'petit and gros points' partly 18th century tapestry with Saint John the Evangelist and four chimera on a yellow background
Condition
The illustration of the catalogue is accurate.
Good overall condition.
There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use.
There are old woodworms traces.
Four pieces of wood are reinforcing the structure under the seatrail.
As stated in the catalogue, the tapestry is partly 18th century. The tapestry is in good restored condition.
The construction is firm.
