Description

  • Haut. 42 cm et 47 cm; height 16 1/2  in. and 18 1/2  in.

Condition

Good condition overall with surface dirt, notably in the crevices, and minor scratches consistent with age and handling. The fairly thick dark brown patina fairly worn at several places. Traces of oxidation are visible on both bronzes. Pluto's proper left arm is cast separately with a joint slightly visible. Proserpina's proper left foot is cast separately with a joint slightly visible above the ankle. Orithye's proper left arm is cast separately with a joint and a plug visible. Here proper left foot is cast separately as well with a joint slightly visible. Good quality cast for both bronzes.
