comprising a sofa and three armchairs, with ribbons and acanthus leaves, upholstered in orange and beige silk; (the foot of one armchair restored)

Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. Good overall condition despite the inevitable minor scratches and marks due to age and use. There are some chips to the painting revealing the wood underneath. All constructions are firm and sound. As stated in the catalogue description, a leg has been replaced to one armchair. Three front feet of two armchairs have been restored. The wooden pegs have been replaced and one construction stretcher under the seatrail of the sofa has been replaced. There are cracks and shrinkage cracks to the front feet of the sofa. The upholstery is in good condition, with minor wears and tears, especially near the armrests.
