sensitively worked with a short sharp beak between a low comb and large wattle, the sides of the plump body detailed with a large pair of wings, the figure pierced through vertically for suspension, the stone of a pale celadon-white colour with russet skin skilfully worked to highlight the comb and underside

Condition

The figure is in overall good condition. There is light pitting to the stone. The comb may have been lightly polished. The catalogue illustration is a tinge redder than the actual colour of the stone.
