4-inch enamel dial signed Kreisser Bte A Paris, the bell striking movement with Brocot escapement, the case surmounted by a gilt-mounted porcelain urn painted with vignette portraits and flowers, flanked by two reclining classical female figures representing study, the breakfront base inset with further portrait plaques, the central panel depicting putti at play


Dial in good condition, a little dirty, bezel loose but we have it. Movement is complete and looks as though it would run but may benefit from a clean and fresh oil. Case in generally very good original condition, book to left figure is loose but we have it, gilding to porcelain rubbed in places, case gilding in good condition but would benefit from a light clean. With a pendulum and winder.
