Description

  • 63.5cm., 25in. high; 80.6cm., 31 3/4 in. long
modelled as Minerva riding a chariot being pulled through waves by two hippocamps, chained reigns, the central pierced basket flanked by triton supports, the shaped quatrefoil base cast as shells and waves around central dual cartouches

Condition

The chain reigns have become detached. Four small lead solder repairs to the base. Wear to the high points of the decoration with base metal coming through.
