Description

  • silver-gilt
  • 29cm., 11 1/2 in. diameter
circular with gadrooned rim, the cast border pierced with thistles and fruiting vines, centre engraved with a coat of arms within a leafy scroll cartouche, raised on ornate paw and bracket scroll feet

Condition

Clear marks to underside panel and inner rim. Gilding to centre worn. Gilding to border overtly bright, probably later gilded. The border is nicely cast, of good gauge and overall good condition.
