the cartouche centred by a clock with a white enamel dial, signed Forest à Paris, with seven tooled leather drawers above a pair of parquetry cupboards

Condition

Decorative The clock face with repairs to enamel and fillers at this sites. The leather drawers with the kind of marks and scuffs to be expected. Mounts tarnished. The parquetry surface is generally stable although there are some veneer losses, including to one drawer (visible in the catalogue photo). Old, marks, scuffs and scratches consistent with age and use.
