Catalogue Note

This model is part of Cartier's 'Menagerie Collection' and was named after the 1940s film star, Maria Felix (1914-2002). Also known as 'La Doña - the Mexican Marilyn Monroe', the actress had commissioned a unique crocodile necklace in gold which then inspired the firm to create this pen. There was a limited edition of 888 and the model was part of the most expensive range of pens so far created by Cartier.
