Description

  • Giltwood and miiror glass
  • 226cm. high, 182cm. wide; 7ft. 5in., 5ft. 11½in.
carved with scrolling foliage, the lower edge with ceramic pads

Condition

This spectacular mirror has been re-gilt. There are chips to this later surface revealing wood core and gesso. There are construction cracks but it is solid. The plate is good a part from a black mark to the silvering at the centre of to the top. An impressive and very decorative mirror
