- approximately 401 by 395cm; 13ft. 2in., 13ft.
the rose pink floral main field centred with an ivory scrollwork cartouche surrouned by swags of flowers with a rinceaux gold and ivory frame pattern border; with inverted curved corners; possibly reduced in size
Condition
Overall in good condition. Some discolouration in centre of field and minor repair in upper centre of medallion, with minute cobbled repair (2 by 2cm) top right of medallion. Watermarking in the lower left hand corner within crimson field, and minute splits along lines of colour changes in areas. Possibly reduced from a larger carpet with reeded outer border turned.
