Description
- mahogany, boxwood, silver ivory
- 83cm. high, 65cm. wide, 44cm. deep; 2ft. 8¾in., 2ft. 1½in., 1ft. 5½in.
with folding hinged top enclosing a silvered metal timepiece, desk calendars and fitted compartments over an inset leather writing surface, including an ivory label inscribed ' J.C. Vickery', above a single frieze drawer raised on square tapered legs, locks signed 'Bramah'
Condition
Generally in excellent ready to place restored condition. There are slots to the leather interior surface, probably for pens and scissors no longer present. Very.minor old marks, scuffs and scratches including a scratch to one rear leg.

James Collard Vickery was a London silversmith, goldsmith, leather goods manufacturer and retailer active during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. The firm was located at various Regent Street addresses. They specialised in retailing high quality dressing table and desk accessories.
