Description

  • Gilt-brass, ivory
  • 12cm. high, 15.5cm. wide, 13cm.; 5in., 6in., 5in.
each set within glazed roundels between scrolling foliage and cast with raised scrolls and flowers, variations to each, one featuring portraits of French aristocrats and notables and the other foliate bouquets, each interior with a silk lining

Condition

Very decorative, the engraving varies on each. The metal tarnished and there is some engraved dirt. Some ivory plaques cracket and with wear. Some of the glazed roundels in which they sit loose. Interiors generally very good.
