Condition

Two unlined and two lined canvases. All works have a fine pattern of hairline craquelure throughout. Ultra-violet light reveals some small, scattered spots of cosmetic retouching notably in the backgrounds. There are some strokes in the picture depicting a lady wit a bay on her lap that could possibly be addressing old repairs. Most figures remain untouched. Overall, these works are in good condition and ready to hang. Presented in simple decorative frames with nameplates. Colours are less red than in the catalogue illustrations.
