Description
- Silver, Wood, Brass
- 141cm., 55 1/2 in. high; 109.2cm., 43in. wide
shaped rectangular form, applied with four vignettes; the upper depicting a chariot battle scene with falling angels; the lower depicting a feast; and one to each side depicting music and fruit bearing nymphs, among pierced and embossed urns, doves and ribbon tied swags within ornate foliate scrolls, bevelled glass mirror, the oak body with stylised lyre easel back, with pierced silver embellishment, the carrying chains terminating with lion masks to either side
Condition
Excellent size. Clearly marked in various places. The four panels apparently unmarked. No obvious breaks or repairs. A few holding pins absent. Good condition.
