Arabic manuscript on paper, 281 leaves plus 4 flyleaves, 15 lines to the page, written in fine ghubar script in black ink, verses separated by gold dots, surah headings in gold thuluth script, catchwords in gold, margins rules in gold and black, opening gold and polychrome double-page frontispiece, in later red-leather European binding

Condition

In good condition, the margins have been cropped but are fairly clean, with only few marginal notes, occasional smudges and minor stains, the double frontispiece with the lower left corner restored, minor smudges and losses to the ink, the binding in very good condition, as viewed.
