each modelled in the form of a a richly attired Sultan and Sultana with cylindrical apertures through turbans with stopper, each supported on a pedestal with gilt designs, fluted water-basin at their feet, the Sultan with an inscription underneath "[?]Hocqueloux"

Condition

Both intact, the colours bright, some rubbing to gilding, the two stoppers have been attached to turban so cannot open them, underside of base of Sultana with two cracks, as viewed.
