Catalogue Note

Baha al-Din abu Hasan 'Ali ibn Rustum ibn Harduz al-Khurasani ibn al-Sa'ati died in 1207 AD. His origins vary according to sources, as he is called both al-Dimashqi and al-Khurasani. In Brockelmann the name al-Dimashqi is included, while the title page of our volume mentions the name al-Khurasani. This volume appears to be an unrecorded work, since Brocklemann only lists Ghazal min shi’rih and Diwan. See Brockelmann, GAL, I. 256; Suppl. I. 456.
