Description

of square form, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and turquoise with a design consisting of a central saz leaf encircled by tendrils and composite lotus palmettes, framed

Condition

The tile is intact, two cracks run horizontally from the border towards the centre, respectively at 4 o'clock and 9 o'clock, the longest measuring less than 11cm. corners and edges most probably abraded, occasional scratches to the glaze set within old wooden frame with scuffs and scratches, as viewed. This lot has not been inspected outside of the frame.
