the edges with a raised, sinuous rim and carved foliate handles, inscribed in the centre with entwining scrolls on a guilloche ground, tughra of Sultan Abdülhamid II (r.1876-1909) stamped to centre of tray, reverse with asseyer test marks

Condition

In good overall condition, reverse with some discoloration as a result of minor oxidisation, hairline scratches throughout surface but barely visible, vestiges of polishing substance in nooks of handles, as viewed.
