the octagonal watered-steel barrel with raised sighting plate, clasped by a silver capuchine worked in repoussé, ivory-tipped forestock, the steel lock with engraved foliate designs, the five-sided wood stock decorated with brass and stained ivory roundels designed in stellar compositions, brass studding throughout, underside with foliate designs to stock and barrel in ivory

Condition

In generally good condition, minor knicks to surface as consistent with age and use, the capuchine possibly a later replacement, tip of ramrod probably later replacement and ramrod itself also possibly later, some discoloration to ivory and bone inlaid designs, as viewed.
