Description

  • Gilt-bronze, metal
assis en vajrasana sur une double base lotiforme, les mains en dhyana mudra tenant un vase, habillé d'un fin dhoti, le visage serein surmonté d'une couronne, non scellée

Condition

The base is unsealed. A ca. 4 x 2 cm casting flaw to the back of the figure has been filled in with lead. The urna on the forehead is flattened, the nose and chin are dented. The upper part of the vase and tips of the crown are pushed in. There is a ca. 4 cm long horizontal hairline crack between the back of the figure and the base. There is overall wear to the gilding, especially to the knees, back and face
