encre et couleurs sur papier, monté en rouleau, signé ZHANG YUAN, daté guiwei (1943), avec une inscription dédicatoire, et avec deux cachets de l'artiste
Provenance
Acquired in China between the 1960s and 1980s.
Condition
The painting is in overall good condition. There are small losses to the paper, i.e. in the lower right hand corner, the lower left hand corner, the upper left hand corner. There is a very light brown area of staining to the upper left hand side. The paper is of a greyer tone, the black more grey and the colours softer than the catalogue illustration suggests.
