Description

Le 1er à 3 compartiments en laque takamakie figurant deux cavaliers dressant des chevaux, signé Yoyusai, kagamibuta à décor d’une courtisane ; le 2e à 5 compartiments décor aux chevaux en laque hiramakie or et argent, netsuke en ivoire et corne ; le 3e  à 4 compartiments, en laque hiramakie à décor de couples de daims sur fond de feuillages signé, kagamibuta figurant un renard déguisé en prêtre ; le 4e à 3 compartiments en laque hiramakie décoré d’un cheval au galop et d’un arbre près d’un cour d’eau, ojime en métal orné d’un crabe, netsuke manju en ivoire ajouré en forme de feuille d’aoi signé Gyokuho (4)

Condition

All the inros are in good overall condition. There is very light wear to the gilding and to the lacquer. There are some age cracks to some of the ivory netsukes, with a nice age patina.
