de forme d'un vase meiping, la partie supérieure bombée finement et richement sculptée en relief d'un décor foisonnant de fleurs de lotus dans les branchages feuillagés, la partie inférieure fuselée ornée de quatre lotus dans des rinceaux, l'épaulement rythmé de quatre anses ajourées en forme de fleurs de lotus épanouies soutenant des anneaux mobiles, le col resserré en corolle à pétales épanouis, le couvercle au même décor surmonté d'une prise en forme de bouton de lotus (2)

Acquired in Paris, November 1969 (No. 150 according to the collectors' files).
Condition
One of the loops has been replaced in the past, a second loop may have been broken and reattached. One one of the flower-shaped handles, the tip of one of the feathery leaves has broken off and there is a chip to one of the feathery leaves around the shoulders of the vase. There are scattered minute fritts to the raised parts of the designs. The stone is of a dark green colour with some mottled areas of lighter and darker inclusions.
On the cover, the lotus bud is carved separately and from a different stone, possibly posterior to the base of the cover and fixed, with a ca. 2 cm long crescent-shaped restoration where it joins the the flat part of the cover.
