se tenant debout sur un socle circulaire formé de nuages vaporeux recouvrant des vagues tourbillonnantes, vêtue d'une longue et ample robe retombant jusqu'aux pieds et nouée sous la poitrine ornée d'une parure de perles élaborée, la main gauche tenant un rouleau, le visage plein aux yeux mi-clos et aux traits fins, la chevelure soigneusement détaillée et retenue en un haut chignon par une épingle en forme de sceptre ruyi derrière une tiare ouvragée et deux ornements en lotus, marque en cachet Boji Yuren au dos
Condition
There are two long firing cracks to the base of the figure, one extending ca. 20cm into the sides and the second ca. 15cm into the sides (the last visible in the catalogue illustration). They have both been filled in. There is a ca. 15cm long horizontal firing crack on the lower part of the figure across the robe. A ca. 2cm high horizontal part of the base made of plaster has been added to stabilize the figure (partly visible in the catalogue illustration). There is a ca. 2cm large shallow glaze chip to the shoulder. some horizontal firing flaws to the lower part of the figure. There are minor chips to the edges of the folds. The thumb of the figure's right hand has broken off and has been reattached.
