Condition

Lined. There is a stable web of craquelure over the picture surface, most noticeably in the upper left quadrant and in the lighter pigments. Minor frame abrasion visible along the left edge. Under UV: an old varnish fluoresces green unevenly; the horse, sheep and sky have been cleaned of this varnish. There is additional retouching at the left corner and scattered around the sheep at lower left.
