Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is brighter in the original work, especially the red.
The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined.
The corners and edges present some wears, one of which on the outer edge of the upper left corner has resulted in a small canvas tear. There are stabilized cracks on the thicker impastos, few of which have resulted in small losses, visible under close inspection.
Under Ultra Violet light inspection there are some areas of restoration that fluoresce at the center of the composition.
