Condition

The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is cooler in the original. Upon very close inspection, there is a tiny spot of wear with an associated speck of media loss to one of the figure's toe and to the right of the figure's back. The feet are slightly dirty. As noticed in the salesroom notice, the two wooden blocks on the picture are not part of the work but Sotheby's will provide the buyer with a small wood block.
