Condition

Refinished. Patch repair around latchplate. Battens possibly reset.

Catalogue Note

To date, this is the only known American tea table with an elliptical piecrust top.  As such the top was never initially dished with a lathe but rather the dishing and scalloping of the top was all executed by hand.
