The woman: the canvas is lined and there is craquelure throughout. Under UV: there are scattered dots of inpainting throughout the figure with larger areas across the center of her face, arm, hand and dress. There are areas of retouching to the background and figure, primarily at right. The man: the canvas is lined and there is craquelure throughout. Under UV: there are scattered dots of inpainting throughout the figure, including his face and coat. There are some larger areas on inpainting in the lower portion of his coat at the sleeve, an area in the center right background and scattered dots in the left background.
