Condition

This work is in good condition. The canvas has been lined using wax onto either a piece of thin board or aluminum. This lining can easily be reversed and the canvas can be lined more appropriately if necessary. There is minor scattered craquelure, mostly in the sky and along the top and left stretcher bar marks. There is an area of dots of discoloration at center left. Under UV: there are a few pindots of inpainting along the top right edge, in the left sky and water. There is a 1 by 2 ½ inch area of inpainting in the water at lower right.
