Condition

The canvas is wax lined and the edges of the original canvas are trimmed. There is craquelure throughout and two prominent vertical cracks in the center and right registers. There is a long, thin horizontal crack near the bottom edge with some lifting and losses – all beneath the frame. Under UV: there is an area of inpainting at the lower left corner, a 2 inch area in the lower right quadrant, a 1 inch spot at the top center edge and a few other scattered spots and dots.
