Condition
Canvas is lined (work is conventionally strip-lined and on the reverse is lined with a transparent sheet, so that the artist's inscriptions show through) . SURFACE: in good condition UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: a few small, scattered repaints in sky and water--mostly on the right half of picture; just to the right of the ship's bow on horizon-line, what looks like a repaired tear a few (lines of inpainting, in about a 2 inch radius)
