The base has areas which appear to have been cut as to fit the stand. The other tusk is in overall reasonable conserved condition. the top 30cm approximately has been painted to simulate the tusk, probably due to historic damage, although this is inconclusive due to the paint. The base has similarly been adapted to fit the stand. Both tusks with overall marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
