Overall measurements: 189cm along the left hand side, 183cm along the right hand side, 94cm across the top, 99cm across the bottom. Bright and exuberant colouring. In country house condition. Pile variable from 4mm down to knotbars and foundation. Browns oxidised. There are scattered cobbled repairs throughout, in particular two sections to the upper end, one three quarters of the way up on the left extending from the central field to the, possibly later, triple banded side cords. There is also a split to the foundation here measuring approx 10cm. The second beneath the upper border, of similar scale, there is also a later replaced section in the border measuring approx 33cm in length. Both areas of repair visible from online image. There are further smaller scattered repaired sections, for example upper right hand corner and in the middle, left hand inner guard. Losses to both ends, now overlocked. There is some foldwear, for example middle bottom gul - visible from online image. The underside of the left hand edge has evidence of old loops for hanging, some extant.
