Condition

Good condition for an object of this type and age. Nicks, chips, scratches, and abrasions consistent with age and use. A section of the proper left back edge of the mask is broken and glued. An old loss to the proper left back edge of the mask. Areas of shallow insect damage on reverse. Some insect damage to holes for fiber attachment. An area of surface fill under proper left nostril. Written on the reverse in white ink: "LvB/2". Very fine glossy dark brown patina.
