Condition

Very good condition overall for an object of this type and age. Marks, nicks, scratches, and abrasions consistent with age and use within the culture. An old loss to the edge on the proper right side of seat, as partially visible in the catalogue illustration. Some hairline cracks in places, including a shallow open crack to the edge of the seat visible in the catalogue illustration. Fine varied honey brown patina, the seat with a darker satin-like surface.
