This work is in a very good condition. Some signs of hairline craquelure to the lower section of the painting. Some further vertical hairline cracks scattered across the upper section, all of which are in line with artist's application of heavy impasto and creative process.
Colour:
The colour in the catalogue illustration is accurate, with the overall tonality being softer than in the original work. The catalogue illustration fails to convey the rich and heavy impasto depth.
