Condition
The canvas has been relined. There are visible lines of scattered craquelure throughout. Ultra-violet light reveals areas of old residual varnish which make the surface quite difficult to read. However, lines of in-painting are visible in the aforementioned craquelure and some other scattered small spots are visible throughout.
This picture is in good overall condition and is ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
